About
Annaba
Annaba "ex-Bone" is the fourth largest city of Algeria located on the coastline of the Mediterranean sea. It has an excellent natural port that drew the Phoenicians here some 3000 years ago. The town is most famous for the theologian and philosopher Saint Augustine who was formed in Hippo Regius, one of the most beautiful Roman Ruins of Annaba, just beneath the modern Basilica dedicated to him and his recumbent statue is preserved in a richly decorated shrine. The main centre has some of the most prestigious and elegant French colonial-era architecture. If you go along the edge of the town, there are series of fine beaches for summer fun. Our travel experts will be happy to assist you to plan a memorable moment.
