Set out to the ancient port close to the Tunisian border and that was the home of Augustine of Hippo and a center of early Christianity known as Hippo Regius. Upon our arrival we start with the archaeological museum which houses some of the most interesting exhibits such as the mosaics (Hunting scene, fishing, Grape Harvesting Cupids...) a bronze trophy, tombs with lybic and latin epigraphy...etc. Nearby is the site of Hippo Regius whose network of large, flat stone roads, connects the large Forum, Christian quarter, Market place and the Basilica of St. Augustine.
